On the morning of January 12, Qiu Suhui, president of TamKang University Alumni Association of Eastern China and Zang Yongrong, chairman of the Youth Committee of Hefei Taiwan Investors Association, paid a visit to AHUT. Vice President of AHUT, Gu Mingyan, leaders of the H.K, Macau and Taiwan Affairs Office, Alumni Affairs Office, School of Computer Science, School of Arts and Design, and School of Innovation and Education attended the meeting.
On behalf of AHUT, Gu Mingyan welcomed the delegation, and summarized the development of projects, such as "Cross-Strait Students Cultural Exchange Week", "Cultural Science Innovation Camp for Anhui-Taiwan University Students", and "Dajiang Forum·Anhui-Taiwan Youth Innovation Forum". Gu Mingyan pointed out that it is necessary to continuously deepen all-round and multi-dimensional understanding, keep strengthening the industry-university-research cooperation between AHUT and Tamkang University Alumni Association of Eastern China and its alumni enterprises, and further innovate forms and expand channels on the basis of consolidating the existing results. She added that in order to realize the implementation of various cooperation projects and achieve more results, measures should be taken to enrich the connotation, carry out more in-depth and pragmatic collaborations in talent training, entrepreneurship, innovation education, etc.
On behalf of Tamkang University Alumni Association of Eastern China, Qiu Suhui expressed her gratitude for the warm reception of AHUT and the hope that the two parties will further strengthen exchanges and deepen cooperation on the basis of full understanding and communication, so as to achieve complementary advantages and mutual benefits.
At the meeting, the School of Innovation Education awarded Zang Yongrong the letter of appointment as an off-campus mentor for innovation and entrepreneurship of AHUT.
The two parties conducted in-depth exchanges on alumni work, big data research, artistic creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship, etc., and had a discussion on cooperation projects in 2022.
