Founded in 1958, Anhui University of Technology (AHUT) is renowned for its study of metallurgy and materials science and boasts its strengths in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and computer science. At the same time,  it offers well-developed programs in science, humanities, economics, management, law and arts.

AHUT is proud to provide a vibrant and dynamic environment where 34,000 full-time students and 244 international students are  currently pursuing their education in 60 bachelor-degree programs, 19 master-degree programs of first-level disciplines, 17 professional master-degree categories, and 6 doctor-degree programs.
