Being a member of the delegation of Anhui Science and Technology Department, President Wei Xianwen paid a visit to Hungary and Serbia from December 13 to 20, 2023.

During his visit to Hungary, Wei held talks with Luo Qing, First Secretary of the Chinese Embassy in Hungary, Andor Fejer, Deputy Mayor of Solnok City, Zhang Zhigang, general manager of the Hungarian Continental Industrial Park and others for exchanging views on promoting educational cooperation and people-to-people exchanges, and reached consensus on personnel training, innovative education, international conferences, and integration of industry, education and research. The two sides are willing to deepen practical cooperation, jointly train high-quality young talents, and contribute educational strength to the development of China-Hungary relations by following the principle of openness, innovation and cooperation.
