On April 13th, Jiang Changjun, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, expert in computer field, visited School of Computer Science and Technology for guidance. Lu Lin, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the University, Shui Hengfu, Standing Committee member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the University, met with Academician Jiang and his delegation.

After listened the college development report made by the dean of the School of Computer Science and Technology, Academician Jiang affirmed that in recent years, the school has made remarkable results in discipline construction, national first-class subject and curriculum construction, personnel training. With distinct industry characteristics, the school has a deep accumulation and good foundation for development. In constructing the discipline, the university’s background and cooperation with Baowu & Ma Steel and other large enterprises should be taken into consideration to further condense its specialties.
