On Dec. 8, Zhao Zhenhua, deputy secretary of the Anhui Provincial Education & Working Committee and director of the Provincial Department of Education of Anhui Province, came to Anhui University of Technology (hereafter referred to as AHUT) for hosting investigation into and seminar on higher education in Ma’anshan, Anhui Province.

Lu Lin, secretary of the Party Committee of AHUT, attended the seminar together with directors of all higher education institutions located in Ma’anshan and reported the governance of AHUT and its latest achievements. After hearing the reports made by the directors, Zhao Zhenhua pointed out that higher education institutions should be oriented towards the new context and new tasks, have high sense of responsibility in the heart and fulfill the due commissions, in particular, take good care of physical and mental health in current time.

During his investigation, Zhao, accompanied by Lu Lin and Liu Ming, Vice President of AHUT, made on-the-spot examination of students’ accommodation on Jiashan Campus, visited Research Center of Modern Surface & Interface Engineering and other core teaching and research centers of AHUT. He spoke high of the remarkable works done by AHUT.
