2 scholars of Anhui University of Technology (AHUT) have been featured among Highly Cited Researchers 2021, which was released by Clarivate Analytics on Nov 16th. Professor Shen Hao from the School of Electrical and Information Engineering and Senior Experimentalist Wang Jing from the School of Electrical and Information Engineering were listed. Professor Shen Hao, in particular, was selected in two disciplines this year, both engineering and mathematics, and he has also been on the list for three consecutive years.

Highly Cited Researchers List is released by Clarivate Analytics and sourced from the ESI database, which is designed to identify the world's top talents in the natural and social sciences. Scientists on the list have published multiple highly cited papers in the past decade 2010-2020 and are cited in the top 1% of their disciplines in Web of Science™, demonstrating their significant academic influence among their peers. In 2021, a total of 6,602 highly cited scientists from over 70 countries and regions worldwide were listed, with 935 from Mainland China, the highest number ever recorded. AHUT ranked first among provincial universities of Anhui in the list.
