On the afternoon of June 27th, the closing ceremony of the 2021 Cultural Science and Innovation Training Camp for Students of Anhui and Taiwan Universities was held in AHUT. Vice President of AHUT, Gu Mingyan, President of East China Alumni Association of Tamkang University and Vice President of Ma 'anshan Taiwan Business Association, Qiu Suhui, attended the meeting. Directors of Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan Affairs Office, School of Arts and Design and representatives of teachers and students attended the meeting.
Gu Mingyan said that the cultural science and innovation training camp promoted the exchange of ideas and sublimation of feelings between students of Anhui and Taiwan Universities, and enhanced the in-depth understanding and emotional identity of students from both sides of the Taiwan Strait. She hopes that AHUT would cooperate with Tamkang University and other universities in Taiwan to carry out all-round and three-dimensional students and teachers exchanges and scientific research cooperation.
Qiu Suhui said that the cultural science and innovation training camp enables Taiwan students to have a deeper understanding of the profound cultural heritage of the motherland and appreciate the unique charm of traditional culture. Universities in Taiwan are looking forward to establishing closer exchanges and cooperation with AHUT and other universities on the mainland to jointly promote cultural exchanges, cooperation and inheritance among students from both sides of the Taiwan Straits.
The Cultural Science and Innovation Training Camp for Students of Anhui and Taiwan Universities is committed to strengthening the communication between college students, teachers and educational administrators on both sides of the Taiwan Straits, enhancing the cultural exchanges and constantly promoting the establishment of profound friendship between teachers and students of both sides of the Taiwan Straits. The 1st Anhui and Taiwan Youth Cultural Innovation and Creativity Competition, as the specific activity carrier of the Cultural and Scientific Innovation Training Camp of students of Anhui and Taiwan Universities, guides students to design innovative and creative works by integrating traditional culture and scientific innovation elements with the background of Anhui and Taiwan's humanities and history. The competition combines online and offline activities. After the preliminary and final evaluation, 25 teachers and students from AHUT and 19 teachers and students from Tamkang University won the prizes.
Gu Mingyan and Qiu Suhui presented certificates of honor to outstanding instructors, Zang Yongrong, from the School of Business Management of Tamjiang University and Zhang Qing from the School of Art and Design of AHUT and the representatives of the award-winning students.
