As notified by the office of Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban), AHUT has successfully passed the verification and assessment and officially become a test center of the Chinese language proficiency test (HSK) in China.So far, AHUT is the fourth university authorized to organize HSK regularly.
The application work of the HSK test center has been highly valued by leaders of AHUT, and has been included in the key work of AHUT in 2020.The approval of the qualification was granted in recognition of the excellent international education work and facilitates international students to learn Chinese and Chinese culture. AHUT will establish a collaborative work mechanism and manage effectively the test organization work.
Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK), an international standardized test of Chinese language proficiency, assesses non-native Chinese speakers’ abilities in using the Chinese language in their daily, academic and professional lives. HSK consists of six levels, namely HSK (level I), HSK (level II), HSK (level III), HSK (level IV), HSK (level V), and HSK (level VI).
HSK is held in and outside China on a regular basis every year. As long as the score reaches the corresponding standard level, the test taker can acquire the certification of HSK, which is accepted as the proof of Chinese proficiency for studying purposes in Chinese universities.
