"I feel honored that President Xi wrote back to my compatroites," FAROOQ said,“for a long time, I consider President Xi and every Chinese as a member of our family. I am very glad to be able to come to China for further study, I saw all the efforts done by the Chinese government and all Chinese people in the epidemic prevention and control and I will definitely tell people of my country about what I have seen and heard on this beautiful land and cooperate with Chinese people to join hands in promoting a community of shared future for mankind."
SHAMIM, an undergraduate in the class of 2017, comes from Bangladesh. He shared his feeling of being the dormitory assistant during the epidemic prevention and control period. He said, " President Xi’s reply was addressed to every international student who came to China. We deeply felt his care and love for all international students. I would like to thank AHUT for taking a series of effective prevention and control measures during the epidemic period, ensuring the provision of relevant materials and the physical and mental health of our international students. I would like to appreciate teachers of SIE, who persist in on duty in the international students' apartment every day during the epidemic, and thank you so much for your meticulous care and love. In the early days of the epidemic, my parents worried about my health and safety here every day. Now it is my turn to worry about them. Many people in my country have been infected with the novel coronavirus."
DIALLO, an undergraduate in the class of 2016, will graduate this year. He said in fluent Chinese that "I would like to thank the Chinese government for everything it has done for our international students during the epidemic prevention and control, as well as the school leaders and all the teachers who have been with us every day during this difficult time. In the past few years in China, I have not only learned the Chinese language and professional knowledge, but also felt the friendliness of the Chinese people, the extensive and profound Chinese culture, and the rapid development of China has provided valuable experience for the rest of countries in the world. AHUT has taught me a lot. After graduation, I want to bring the valuable wealth back home to build my country."
The new era is filled with new opportunities. Standing at the new historical starting point, international education shoulders more important responsibilities and missions. SIE of AHUT will endeavor to build connectivity of all Chinese and international students with the honor, sense of responsibilities and mission to build a community with a shared future for mankind.
