On the afternoon of November 25, the third International Cultural Festival of AHUT was held in Xiushan campus. Mr.XiePing, deputy director-general of Anhui Provincial Education Department attended and addressed the opening ceremony. Mr.Hou Chunxing, Counsellor of the Embassy of Malaysia, China,and the first secretary of the Embassy of Malaysia, China, Mr.Cai Mingsheng, Professor Gu Mingyan,vice President of AHUT attended the opening ceremony.Vice Director of Higher Education Division, Anhui Provincial Education Department, Mr. Zhu Yongguo, vice Director of Vocational and Continuing Education, Anhui Provincial Education Department, Mr. Xu Haiyang, Principal Staff of Foreign Affairs Division, Anhui Provincial Education Department, Mr. Liu Fei,teachers and students of AHUT participated in the opening ceremony of the festival.

With the theme of "Build Up Dreams, Share Cultural Prosperity", international students from 25 countries presented a cultural feast for both Chinese and international students. Every country delegation carefully arranged their cultural exhibition booth with their own culture and local food to fully interpreted the customs of their country from multi-angles. A large number of Chinese and international students queued to get their passports for the international cultural festival to participate in various activities. They visited each exhibition both with great interest, carefully selected cultural exhibits and experienced various kinds of special food prepared by international students themselves. Students from Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Zimbabwe, Indonesia, Rwanda, Morocco and other countries also gave exotic and colorful performances with great passion.

This international cultural festival is co-sponsored by the School of International Education, LogisticAffairsDepartment, Security Department and CommitteeofCommunistYouthLeague of AHUT. It enriched the campus cultural life of overseas students and built a platform for the integration and exchange of Chinese and international students.
