On the evening of December 29, 2019 New Year’s Party for Chinese and International Students was held at Student Activity Center of Xiushan Campus, Anhui University of Technology. Chinese and international students from nearly 40 countries joined the New Year gathering. AHUT Vice-President Gu Mingyan together with leaders and teachers from relevant departments and schools of AHUT attended the party.

11 programs in total given by Chinese and international students brought an art feast to all the teachers and students. Traditional dances performed by students from Uzbekistan and Rwanda displayed their distinct national cultures. Song performance given by a band formed by Kazak students brought the audience a relaxing and joyful mood. The enthusiasm of the audience was heightened by Fashion Show made by 38 international students from 19 countries, which raised the atmosphere of the party to a climax. The fabulous and exciting martial arts performance given by Chinese students demonstrated the unique charm of Chinese Kongfu. Chinese traditional dance and instruments performance brought the glamour of Chinese traditional culture to the audience.

Organized by School of International Education and Communist Youth League Committee of AHUT, the party made a harmonious and cheerful atmosphere for the new year and also created a chance for Chinese and international students to approach and further understand each other.
