On April 19th, Professor Sun Zhengming, expert in “Recruitment Program of Global Experts” of the Organization Department of the Central Committee of CPC, was invited to AHUT for academic exchanges. Prof. Liu Xinyue, the chairman of AHUT Committee and Prof. Wei Xianwen, AHUT president met with Prof. Sun.
Prof. Sun made an academic report titled “From Nano Layered Compound Max Phases-MAX Phases and the Spontaneous Metal Whisker Growth.” The seminar was hosted by He Yizhu, Dean of School of Materials Science and Engineering(SMSE). Teachers, postgraduates and undergraduates from SMSE and other relevant schools attended the lecture.
Representatives from Personnel Department, SMSE and other related departments held discussion with Prof. Sun on how to promote the cooperative construction of major projects and achievements inmaterials science and engineering.
