On November 11th, Winter Job Fair for Graduates of 2018 was successfully held in Xiushan campus of AHUT. There were a total of 591 employers from 16 provinces and cities recruited new staff here, with more than 19,000 jobs provided, which were related to steel and materials, chemistry and energy, architecture and environment, management and logistics, electricity and information, education and training and many other industries. A large number of high-quality positions were provided for graduates. After the negotiation and two-way selection, a total of 756 graduates signed the contracts on-site. Besides, more than 1950 graduates achieved employment intention.
Job Fair being the main channel and platform for graduate employment, Student Work Department (Employment and Entrepreneurship Guidance Center) and all schools in AHUT kept innovating and took various measures to establish the employment market in high level with multiple job positions to meet the high demand. At the same time, all schools have actively carried out different types of activities for employment guidance, such as CV design, career planning and employment guidance courses, which helped to improve the graduates’ job-seeking ability.
