In the afternoon of March 9, Xin Changxing, Deputy Secretary-General of CPC Anhui ProvincialCommittee visited Anhui University of Technology (AHUT) for making investigation and giving instruction.

Mr. Xin spoke highly of the achievements made by the university after listening to the work report made by top university leaders on teaching quality improvement, innovation andentre preneurship education, commercialization of research findings, internationalization of higher education, etc. and viewing the exhibition of the achievements.

He talked with Yang Jian who was greeted by Vice Prime Minster Liu Yandong as one of the National Mentors of the year and other students mentors awarded for their outstanding work as well as Li Zhihu, student representative who did great job in innovation and entrepreneurship. Mr. Xin also met the leaders ofthe university-run enterprises and praised the university for making good use of relevant policies, resources, talents and technological advantages.

Xin Changxing visited the students who are preparing for the 4th National Undergraduate Engineering Training Comprehensive Ability Competition in Chuangke Workshop in Innovation Education Center of AHUT. He watched the carbon-free car simulation training of “S-shaped”,“8-shaped” and electric control type.

He enjoyed the excellent performances of the robot in the drones and robot joint simulation laboratory. He praised the students' innovation spirit and ability, encouraged the students to cultivate the consciousness of innovation, bring out the creative potential, and experience the innovation process. The art and design works displayed on the second floor of Zhenhua Library were described being innovative, distinctive and "tasty".
