When the new academic term began on this Tuesday in Anhui University of Technology (AHUT), Ma’anshan, Anhui Province, international students from over 20 countries have reasons to feel more at home than usual. They have new classrooms next to the school office to get help conveniently. Most of them don’t need to cross the whole campus to get to the office after class any more. They have had exchanges on the preparation for the new courses with their course instructors, mentors and supervisors via wechat groups long before their face-to-face meeting in the new term. Now they can consult them instant-ly either through instant message or in person.

AHUT has been attaching great importance to the improvement of the study and living conditions as well as relationship between faculty and students to provide cozy environment for international students. The number of international students this year is almost 3 times that of last year. Many of them are eager to recommend their relatives and friends to pursue degrees here at AHUT.
