At the finals of Anhui Division of 2011' National College Students’ English Contest recently held at Hefei, capital city of Anhui Province, 13 students from Anhui University of Technology have made remarkable  performances. Student GUO Shuqi from School of Foreign Languages and student TONG Yan from School of Mechanical Engineering have been awarded Grand Prizes and the left 11 studnets all have won the first prizes.

295 candidates in total from 68 colleges and universities in Anhui Province have participated in the finals.
