The 6th National College Deans Forum on Metallurgical Engineering was held at Chongqing University on October 22. Over 50 scholars from 26 Chinese and foreign universities gathered together to discuss the current situation and development direction of metallurgical disciplines in higher education as well as the modes and quality engineering project which happen to train all-level talents from the metallurgical field.
Vice President Professor LI Jiaxin, Professor Dean WANG Jianjun and Professor WANG Shijun, Vice Dean from School of Metallurgical Engineering attaneded the meeting and delivered a speech to introduce the latest achievements made by AHUT in disciplinary construction, staff construction and talents training in the metallurgical discipline. In the end, Anhui University of Technology was appointed as the sponsor of 7th National College Deans Forum on Metallurgical Engineering Forum which is to be held in 2012.
