On April 14, the opening ceremony of the 11th Annual Conference of National Accounting Informatization was held at Anhui University of Technology. The conference was sponsored by Accounting Informatization Committee of Accounting Society of China (ASC) and organized by School of Management, Anhui University of Technology. The University President Professor LI Jiaxin, Executive Deputy Mayor WEI Yao of Ma’anshan City, Deputy Director of Accounting Division, Ministry of Finance YING Wei, Deputy Secretary-General XU Yuhong of ASC participated in the ceremony and delivered speeches. On the ceremony, Director of Accounting Informatization Committee of Accounting Society of China Professor YANG Zhounan, Vice President of Anhui University of Technology Professor LIN Zhonggao, Director of Accounting Section of Accounting Division, Ministry of Finance TAN Dong, Deputy Director of Accounting Informatization Committee of Accounting Society of China Professor ZHUANG Minglai from Xiamen University, Director of Accounting Section, Anhui Provincial Department of Finance HUANG Kelai, Secretary-General of Anhui Accounting Society XIN Xinhua were invited in the chairman’s podium. The opening ceremony was hosted by the dean of School of Management, Anhui University of Technology, Professor YANG Yada.
During the conference, keynote speeches were given and group discussion activities were held. 4 academic forums were listed in the whole conference including: Standard System Research and Case Study of Accounting Informatization, Teaching Research and Case Discussions of Accounting Informatization, Application and Case Sharing of Accounting Informatization, Internal Control and IT Risk Management and Case Study.
More than 200 intellectuals from different fields of management, accounting informatization, management consultation, iron and steel industry joined the discussions with the thesis on: Accounting Informatization under a new round of the information-based wave tide: mission, challenge, prospect. After the discussion, annual meeting held the handover ceremony. YANG Zhounan hosted the ceremony and handed over the emblem and logo from Professor WANG Jiachang, Director of Financial Department, Anhui University of Technology to the next organizer, Beijing Institute of Technology.
The successful holding of the conference won great repurtation and support from a local bank and some companies.
