The induction ceremony for Professor WANG Huacheng, the famous financial specialist from Renming University of China, to be the adjunct professor of Anhui University of Technology was held at the library hall on the east campus on the afternoon of April 28. The VP Professor LIN Zhonggao, also as the director of Corporate Management and Operation Research Center and leading figure of the financial discipline, and all teaching staff and postgraduates from the Dept. of Accounting and Dept. of Fianncial Management participated in the ceremony, which was hosted by the vice dean of School of Management, Professor ZHANG Tiesheng.
Professor LIN Zhonggao delivered the welcoming speech on behalf of the university and spoke highly of the great academic achievements made by Professor WANG and conferred the certificate for having Professor WANG Huacheng as the adjunct professor of AHUT.
Professor WANG expressed his gratitude to be one part of Anhui University of Technology and his determination to make contributions to the university’s development in the future.
After the ceremony, Professor WANG gave an acadmic report on Research on Chinese Accounting Index which won popularity of all participants. Professor WANG also presented two poems written by himself to encourage the university students.
Professor WANG Huacheng is a doctor candidates’ supervisor, the Secretary-General for
Guidance Committee for the National Accounting Master-degree Education, Director of China Accounting Association, Executive Director of China Chief Accountant Association, Director of China Cost Research Association, adjunct professor for more than ten fomous universities in China and Visiting Fellow for British Cardiff University, Guest Editorial for Accounting Research, China Accounting and Financial Research, etc.. He has won many awards and presided over many key research programs funded by National Natural Science Fund, National Social Science Fund and Ministry of Finance and published more than 20 textbooks, monographs and over 60 papers at the journals of Management World, Accounting Research, Journal of Renmin University of China, etc..
