On June 6, President of the University of Bridgeport (UB) Professor Neil Albert Salonen and Professor Xinlong Wen visited AHUT. President Li Jiaxin met the delegation and had a very friendly conversation.

On behalf of AHUT, President Li showed his warmest welcome to Presdient Neil Albert Salonen and introduced AHUT about its history, staff, academics, scientific research and international exchanges. Especially he explained specialities about Industrical & Commercial College, AHUT. He suggested both parties have more connections in the future to explore potential opportunities to start cooperations. President Neil Albert Salonen mentioned that two universities share a lot in common. He shared the UB’s development history, strong discplines and great achievements made in recent years. He also suggested starting more staff face-to-face exchanges in the near future and he promised to encourage staff exchanges and make more UB students involved in international experiences including to AHUT. And he also welcomed President Li to visit UB at his conveniences.

The meeting was hosted by Director of Int’l Affairs Office, Chen Xilin. Dean, Professor Chen Dahong and Deputy Dean, Xu Jinyuan from Industrial & Commercial College, AHUT participated in the meeting.

Both sides finally agreed to keep in much closer and honest touch with each other and move things forward in the selected fields.
