On the afternoon of September 10, the convention for the new semester and awarding parts of teachers on the Teachers’ Day was held at the conference center. The university top and awarded teachers participated in the convention which was chaired by the Vice President Lin Zhonggao.

The Vice President Ge Lusheng read the teachers’ names who were listed as the supervisors for One-hundered Masters’ Essays in Excellence. Vice President Gu Mingyan annouced the names who won “Popular Teachers in My Eyes”. The Vice Chairman Wang Guangyang read the names who won prizes in essay-writing of Morality in My Mind.

President Li Jiaxin made a speech about the new semester’s work. He summarized the work done during the summer holiday and made arrangements for the highlights during the new semester. He required all staff should be devoted to their teaching, research and service work to make contributions to the community and university’s development.

Chair Lan Yujie raised speical requirements for all school officials. He required all officials should improve leadership skills, study, teamwork spirit, innovations, responsibility, communication skills, work efficiency and offer better services to increase the university’s overall competitiveness and sustainable development.
