On Feb. 27, Professor William Aguilar, Vice President Emeritus and Paul Amaya, Director of the Center for International Studies and Programs, from California State University San Bernardino and President of US China Business Institute, Wang Chengde visited Anhui University of Technology. President Li Jiaxin, VP Ge Lusheng, VP Gu Mingyan met with the delegation and both sides had a pleasant conversation to explore cooperation and exchange between two universities.

 

 

At the meeting, President Li Jiaxin showed the warmest welcome to the delegation on behalf of the university and made a brief introduction about the university’s history, faculties, disciplines and international cooperation. Professor Aguilar introduced briefly about the California State University system and CSUSB as well. He also expressed his willingness to explore potential cooperation fields with AHUT in the near future. Director Paul Amaya made a specific introduction about CSUSB’s international programs and especially mentioned CSUSB’s 4 strong points in attracting international students.

Mr. Wang Chengde said he would endeavor to support both universities’ cooperation

in the future.

Executive directors from the Teaching Administration Affairs Office and International Affairs Office joined in the discussion.

After the meeting, President Li accompanied the guests to tour around the university’s

main campus and introduced the layout and functional planning of the campus.
