On March 12, the 35thChina’s Arbor Day, at the open space to the north part of the main teaching building, Xiushan campus, flags were fluttering and people were crowded. More than 150 people including the university’s top leaders Lan Yujie, Li Jiaxin, Lin Zhonggao, Wang Guangyang, Zhang Guobao, Wei Xianwen were actively participating in the tree-planting activity.
After almost one hour’s hard work, over 150 trees have been planted. The spring rain that night brought new chances to those newly planted trees.
For many years, the university has been advocating the tree-planting activities to build up green landscaping and ecological campus.
