The final of the 13th Challenge Cup for National College Students Scientific and Technological Works Competition was held at Suzhou University from Oct. 13 to 18.
4 pieces of works from AHUT students have won one Grand Prize and 3 3rd prizes. The research project: How Does the Industrial Transfer Cohesion Happen?---Based on the Research on over 100 Incorporations in the Pan-Yangtz River Delta Region won the Grand Prize, which is the only grand prize won by Anhui delegations during the cup as well as the first grand prize in the history of Anhui colleges running for the competition.
The Challenge Cup for National College Students Scientific and Technological Works Competition, held every two years and known as the “Olympic Event” for college students scientific and technological innovations, is co-organized by China Central Youth League, China Association for Science and Technology, Ministry of Education and All-China Students Federation and becomes the most influential and biggest event for college students scientific and technological innovations in China. All students’ works are assessed by experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Since last March, almost 2000 colleges have been involved in the event and over 20,000 pieces of works were submitted to the Challenge Cup official website, among which 1135 pieces of works from 440 colleges ran for the final.
