2017-05-12 08:50

Duanwu Festival, also known as the Dragon Boat Festival, falls on the 30th of May this year. To celebrate this traditional Chinese festival, the classes on the 29th of May (Monday) will be shifted to the 27th of May (Saturday).  That is, the free days will be from May 28 to 30.

The Duanwu Festival, also known as the Dragon Boat Festival, is one of the traditional Chinese festivals. The festival is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinese calendar. For thousands of years, the festival has been marked by eating zong zi (glutinous rice(糯米)wrapped to form a pyramid using bamboo or reed leaves) and racing dragon boats.
