Professor Zeng Jie, President of AHUT, has received the 2025 Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Science and Technology Innovation Award for his outstanding contributions to the catalytic conversion of carbon dioxide.
Professor Zeng Jie, President of Anhui University of Technology, received the 2025 Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Science and Technology Innovation Award at the award ceremony held at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing on February 2, 2026.
The Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation, established in 1994 by Hong Kong philanthropists Ho Sin Hang, Liang Qiuju, Ho Tim, and Lee Guowei, is one of China‘s most prestigious privately funded science and technology awards. Over 31 years, the foundation has honored 1,692 outstanding scientific and technological professionals.
Professor Zeng Jie has been recognized for his sustained contributions to the research of carbon dioxide catalytic conversion. He is the recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (extended funding), a leading figure in the National Special Support Program for High-Level Talents (Ten Thousand Talents Program), a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and Chief Scientist of a National Key R&D Program. His research has led to the design of high-stability catalysts, the development of novel electrochemical reactors, and the creation of a new electro-bio catalytic process for the production of complex natural products from CO₂.
