A research team from AHUT‘s School of Energy and Environment has signed a major industry-university-research project worth over 5 million RMB with Anhui Yuan Chen Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., focusing on an AI-driven desulfurization and denitrification intelligent control and smart operation and maintenance platform.

    On June 12, 2025, the “Industrial Flue Gas Carbon Reduction and Pollution Control” research team from AHUT’s School of Energy and Environment signed a major industry-university-research project with Anhui Yuan Chen Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. The project, valued at over 5 million RMB, focuses on developing an AI-driven desulfurization and denitrification intelligent control model and smart operation and maintenance platform.

    The project centers on the construction of a “smart environmental protection island,” leveraging cutting-edge technologies including fluid simulation, artificial intelligence, big data, and digital twins. The goal is to develop an AI-powered smart prediction platform to enable intelligent industrial equipment control and fault warning systems. The implementation of the project aims to ensure ultra-low emissions of environmental protection equipment while minimizing energy consumption, achieving smart warning systems, and enabling intelligent operations to help enterprises enhance both quality and efficiency.

    The signing of this project represents a strong endorsement of the research team‘s capabilities and marks a significant advancement in the School’s industry-university-research strength.
