The 9th National Congress and the 8th annual meeting of the Chinese Society for Metals (CSM) was held in Beijing from Oct. 24 to 28. Vice President Professor LI Jiaxin was elected as the member of Board of Directors.
CSM, the largest academic organzation, has more than 70, 000 individual members, which contributes to the advancement of science and technology in the field of metallurgical industry and materials science and engineering in China and is also an organization for Chinese scientists and engineers in these fields.
During the meeting, 1035 papers from China, Europe, Japan and US were accepted.8
professors from AHUT attended the meeting and 6 papers were orally presented.
