From September 7 to 8, the orientation work for the students recruited in the fall semester was done on the both campuses. 5020 undergraduates, 581 graduates and 1600 undergraduates for the Industrial and Commercial College, Anhui University of Technology arrived at the university.

On the morning of September 7, school leaders made inspection on the arrangements made by related schools and departments to welcome the new comers.

On the morning of September 8, the rush time for students’ arrival, Chairman Lan Yujie and President Li Jiaxin leading other officials checked the orientation work on the spot, especially the work of Green Channel funding the financially difficult students. The leaders also visited the students from Xinjiang and their Muslim canteens.
