From Nov 24 to 29, the Eighth ‘Challenge Cup’ College Students Business Plan Competition was held at Tongji University. Vice-president of AHUT Gu Mingyan led a 16-member delegation to join the national finals. After written review and public debate, three pieces of works made by AHUT students won one gold award, one silver award and one bronze award respectively. AHUT was the only university from Anhui Province that won the gold award. AHUT also got ‘Excellent Organizer Prize’ of the event.

The business plan made by delegates from School of Materials Science and Engineering, AHUT─Polycrystal Metallic Materials Technology Limited Corporationwon the gold award. The plan put forward by School of Mechanical Engineering, AHUT ─Pioneer Robot Limited Corporation won the silver award. The plan presented by School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, AHUT─Shuiyifang Fine Chemicals Limited Corporationwon the bronze award.

‘Challenge Cup’ China College Students Business Plan Competition started in March of 2012 and has even since attracted millions of students from more than one thousand colleges and universities from the whole country. About 223 works made by the students from 162 colleges and universities including those from Hongkong, Maocao and Taiwan were selected to participate in the national finals.
