Co-hosted by Robot Professional Committee of Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence and Robot Competition Committee of Chinese Association of Automation, the 13th “Prospective Partners Cup” Chinese Intelligent Robot Competition and 2012’RoboCup Open was held at Nanjing University of Technology from Nov. 16 to Nov. 18. About 400 teams from more than 50 universities all over the country including Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Nanjing University participated in the 4 competitions covering 31 items including Water robots, RoboCup Man-like Group, Dancing Robots and Robot Soccer Games.
Three teams from Anhui University of Technology joined in the items of Robot Dancing and Robot Extinguishing Fire competitions. Among all 37 teams joining in the dancing competition, AHUT Warrior Team and Changjiang Group 1 won the first and second prizes respectively. Black Bat Squadron from AHUT won the first prize among all 40 teams joining in the Robot Extinguishing Fire competition.
